An artistic creation in the realm of fabric design and textiles- "Pineapple Paradise." I began by crafting this design using ProCreate. Drawing inspiration from the breathtaking beauty of tropical flora, and my favorite fruit- pineapple, I blended my own original artwork with elements from my photography, and combined and translated these into digital drawings. The pineapple and hands are directly based off of a shot I created in Costa Rica of myself holding a pineapple from a local market.
After curating each of the elements, I carefully arranged them and formatted them into a pattern that could be repeated endlessly. I wanted to ensure that the design flowed seamlessly, capturing the essence of tropical paradise in every inch. I collaborated with a fabric printer who helped bring my vision to life. Together, we transformed "Pineapple Paradise" into a sarong that invites wearers to immerse themselves in a world of vibrant colors, tropical flowers, and the symbol of hospitality—the pineapple.
This fabric design is not just a creation; it represents my dedication to translating an artistic vision into a tangible form. Whether draped as a sarong or incorporated into other fashion pieces, this design embodies the spirit of paradise.
