Over the past few months, I have delved into the exciting world of digital art through a series of projects. Armed with the program Procreate and my stylus, I have explored the vast possibilities of creating digital illustrations. What struck me the most was the similarities this method shares with traditional art forms like sketching and painting in a non-digital format.

At first, it was a bit challenging to adapt my skills from traditional mediums to the digital realm. However, I soon realized that while the tools may be different, the fundamental artistic principles remained the same. I was able to refine my artistic techniques to translate my sketching and painting skills into something that worked on a digital canvas.

I discovered the immense flexibility offered by layers, brushes, and textures, allowing me to create visually captivating illustrations. The ability to easily undo and adjust my work was a liberating experience, enabling me to refine my ideas with precision.

One of the highlights of my digital art journey was creating a logo for a friend's photography business. It was very rewarding to see my digital illustration transformed into a tangible emblem that would grace their photography business, enhancing their professional image.
